The Case for Decentralized Goes to Washington
This past week, the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association’s Past President, Tom Fritts made a strong case for decentralized wastewater systems in front of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior, Environment and Related Agencies. The opportunity came as a result of NOWRA’s extensive lobbying efforts to get increased amounts of funding and government support in principle for decentralized systems in Congress, the EPA and other federal departments.
